SQCC Visits Bancroft Elementary School for the Fourth Session of the Embassy Adoption Program EAP

The Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center (SQCC) visited the fifth graders of Bancroft Elementary School on Monday 13 March, for the fourth session of the Embassy Adoption Program (EAP), a partnership program between DC Public Schools and Washington Performing Arts. At the beginning of the visit, students reviewed what they learned in previous sessions about Oman, including its culture, tradition, food, people, desert, wild animals, majmar, and frankincense. Many students commented on how they wish to visit Oman in the future. Students also learned to sing the Omani National Anthem in Arabic and perform an Omani traditional dance.
