SQCC Participates in Farragut Friday

On Friday, 21 June, SQCC participated for the third time in Golden Triangle BID’s Farragut Fridays, a free afternoon summer event featuring local organizations and businesses in Washington, D.C. Welcomed by the scent of heated frankincense, dozens of visitors stopped by SQCC’s popular tent to learn about Omani culture and paint ornamental majmars (frankincense burners).SQCC provided the paint, the brushes, patterns, and all that was need for guests to paint intricate and traditionally designed majmars while SQCC staff fielded questions about the Sultanate of Oman and discussed SQCC’s activities and many of the upcoming events this year.
