SQCC hosted the Annual National University Model Arab League NUML

On March 21, SQCC welcomed 300 students from various U.S. universities to participate in the Annual National University Model Arab League, held by the National Council on US-Arab Relation NCUSAR. Established in 1983, this program aims to cultivate young leaders by imparting knowledge about Arab culture and fostering engagement with community issues.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to introduce students from across the United States to SQCC. During their visit, students explored SQCC’s exhibition and get introduced to Oman’s rich culture and history, the Aflaj irrigation system, Oman’s maritime heritage, and the significance of frankincense in Omani culture. Students also gained insights into Omani forts, traditional attire, crafts, as well as SQCC’s various programs and extensive library resources.
