SQCC Participates at the World Language Festival held at the Planet Word Museum

On 21 May, SQCC participated at the World Language Festival 2022 held at the Planet Word Museum in partnership with the Washington, DC Public Schools DCPS World Language Team.  Visitors to SQCC’s booth enjoyed the language activities offered by SQCC, including Arabic calligraphy where staff wrote visitor’s names in Arabic on paper decorated with Arabesque designs. SQCC also offered an activity where visitors could learn to write Arabic phrases and words on dotted font. These words and phrases included: “Oman,” “I love Oman,” “Oman is a beautiful country,” “How are you,” “Thank you very much,” “Good morning”, “Good evening,” “Peace be Upon You,” and “Peace.”
